Admittedly we've not given our blog much attention of late but for very good reason. Matteos is doing it's best to get creative during this challenging economy. Look forward to more blogging and web activity in the months to come, but as for now, we're looking to expand our gluten free lines to include more baked goods, such as cookies, additional breads, cakes, perhaps pancake mixes, etc. Best of all, there's been some progress made towards possibly opening a seperate Matteo's Gluten Free bakery...a celiac's dream :).
We've also been promoting catering around Nashville, Brentwood, and Franklin to churches and schools, in addition to traditional businesses. I'm interested to see what you all think of our spaghetti and some of the other Italian dishes we're preparing for catering events.
Alas, our gluten free and gourmet pizzas aren't going anywhere, but we figured, why not make gluten free pizza crusts, pizza, and desserts more readily available. Celiac patients and others on gluten free diets gotta eat too, right??
